1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MaticamSecurity Camera (“Maticam”, “the App”, “our Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Maticam.
2. Description of Service
Maticam is a mobile application that allows you to:
- Transform smartphones into security cameras
- View live video streams from your camera devices
- Receive motion detection alerts
- Capture screenshots (free) and record live video (paid plans)
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Maticam. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.
4. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- One person may not maintain multiple free accounts
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Maticam only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:
- Monitor people without their knowledge or consent where required by law
- Record in locations where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy
- Use Maticam for any illegal surveillance activities
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
- Share your account or sell access
- Use Maticam to harass, stalk, or harm others
Important: You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Maticam complies with all applicable laws, including privacy and recording consent laws in your jurisdiction.
6. Subscription and Payments
6.1 Free Tier
Maticam offers a free tier with limited features including 480p streaming, screenshots, and limited motion alerts. No payment is required.
6.2 Paid Subscriptions
- Billed monthly through the App Store or Google Play
- Auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Prices may vary by region
6.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective policies.
7. Privacy
Your use of Maticam is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
Maticam and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. User Content
You retain ownership of any video, images, or other content captured using Maticam. We do not claim any rights to your content.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Maticamis provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, that all motion events will be detected, or that recordings will be captured in all circumstances.
Maticam is intended as a supplementary security measure and should not be relied upon as your sole security solution.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss or theft of property, personal injury, loss of data, or loss of profits.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Maticam or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for conduct that violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is illegal. You may delete your account at any time through the app.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Maticam after changes constitutes acceptance.
